When we arrived at the house we immediately could see lots of changes to the outside. So exciting to see that not only was plywood installed on the roof trusses, but the roof has already been shingled!
A couple of open exterior corner sections now have been finished off and insulation board has been installed on most of the outside walls. The front door and window areas are covered with plastic and await the delivery of the windows and doors.
There were many changes to the inside of the house as well. No longer do you need to take a ladder up to the 2nd floor for now the stairway has been installed! The basement stairs are also in place. You can really get a good sense of the layout of the house at this point. The downstairs has an open concept with the kitchen, eating area, and living room all being one big area. It also has a half bath near the back entryway. Upstairs it is now easy to identify the 3 bedrooms with their closets and the outline of the full bath.
The electricians have been hard at work and most of the wiring for the 2nd floor is in place. Work has also begun on the first floor wiring. Stay tuned for the next steps!
