All Trussed Up!!

January 4, 2025 - Today the trusses were installed! A crane arrived on site and got to work. It hooked onto the trusses and lifted them into the air while a crew of Habitat workers positioned them into place and secured them. The end trusses with the eaves were put into place first and then the middle trusses were hoisted up and installed into their brackets.

It was an exciting day which brings the house one step closer to having the roof completed and getting closed in for the winter. The windows and doors are on order and will be installed when they arrive.
