Crack Sealing and Porch Prep

Another small group worked on the house on March 1st. Today's homes are held to a high standard when it comes to insulating and being air tight. Three of us applied more insulating foam to every nook and cranny that could let in even the smallest amount of outside air to be ready for the upcoming home inspection. We are happy to report that the house passed this inspection with flying colors!

Another job that day involved installing inside supports for the front and side porch roofs. The porch stringers will come through the house wall and rest on these supports.
